The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup marks the ninth edition of the global cricket tournament, and this time it will be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States.

20 Teams in Four Groups

In June 2021, the ICC announced a significant expansion of the tournament, increasing the number of participating teams from 16 to 20. The 20 teams will be divided into four groups of five, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super 12 stage.

Participating Teams and Schedule

The participating teams and tournament schedule are yet to be confirmed. However, the ICC has indicated that the tournament will take place in the Caribbean and the United States during October and November of 2024.
